My Childhood Favorites

I was first introduced to video games at the age of 5 (thanks to babysitter Tracy and his Atari). Sometime later, I was reintroduced to games when my grandmother bought a NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) for all the grandkids to enjoy. We spent endless summer days at grandma's between the pool and the Nintendo.

  • Jackal: This one reminds me of my childhood best friend. His mother would rent a Nintendo each time he brought home a good progress report. This was our game of choice.
  • Bad Dudes: My grandmother wasn't fond of this game because the word "dude" in her vocabulary had another meaning. She's still mum on the meaning and I don't think I turned out to be too bad of a dude.
Fall is quickly approaching, and for me that means the last gasp of the golf season - one last chance to get out and shoot that perfect score! To that end I've picked some of my personal favorites that I think could improve my game, and possibly yours as well. And, if the game itself doesn't come around you can always dream about next year by gazing at the golf eye-candy in the Pebble Beach or Scotland golf books. That's the great thing about golf - there is always the next round!
